Ingredients


  • 1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can of condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips (I use Lays)


Instructions


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash brows with the butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion, cheddar cheese, salt, garlic and pepper. Place mixture in a 2 quart casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle crushed potato chips over the top of the casserole.
  4. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, serve, and enjoy! :)
